Q: Which product will fit my gun?
A: Insight Tech-Gear offers three (3) options for attaching a rail-mounted light/laser to your firearm. To help you determine which model will fit best, we have prepared a fit chart that lists many of the most popular firearms and which of our products is appropriate. Q:  What kind of warranty do you have on your lights and lasers?
A: Our white-light products have a limited lifetime warranty, which covers everything except bulbs, batteries and accessories.



Q:  How do I get my light repaired?
A: Please e-mail us at service@insighttechgear.com or call (877) 744-4802 to obtain an RMA# to reference with your return. Returns can then be shipped to:

We strongly recommend that you send your return to us by a trackable method and that you include your name, mailing address, telephone number and RMA number.  Returns usually take between 2-3 weeks, except in the case of backordered items.



Q: I’ve lost the laser adjustment wrench for my X2L. What size is it?
A: The X2L (and the M6) is adjusted using a .032 hex wrench. If you send a request, including your mailing address, to service@insighttechgear.com we will be happy to send you a replacement.



Q: How do I clean my light?
A: Instructions on cleaning your Insight Tech-Gear light can be found here.



Q:  What is the difference between the M3 and the M3X?
A: The M-Series (including the M3 and M6) are water resistant, dust resistant, and have a peak output of 90 lumens.

The X-Series (including the M3X and M6X) are built to military standards and are waterproof (to 66 feet) and dust proof. They have a peak output of 125 lumens and offer greater durability under harsh conditions.



Q:  Why shouldn’t I use the X2L on my full-size handgun?
A: The X2 and X2 Laser are specifically designed to be used on sub-compact pistols, and will not give you optimal fit on a full-sized firearm.

Q:  Is it possible to upgrade my M3 to an LED?
A: There is currently no option available to upgrade the incandescent bulb products to an LED.



Q:  What remotes fit my XTI Procyon?
A: There are no remotes available for the XTI Procyon.
